My name is Jason Hirsch from the John Edwards for President campaign. We rented your donkey costume this past weekend to use at Senator Tom Harkin's Steak Fry in Indianola, Iowa. All the presidential candidates were there alone with Bill Clinton. The donkey was a big hit with the attendees. The woman I spoke with when I retured the costume said that you would like some picktures from the event to use on your website. Hope these help. Thank you!

Dear Patti Jo:

I have just completed my 22nd Annual production of "The Legend of Toyland" and shipped the 40 something cases of costumes back to you. I really felt compelled to take the time to write and express my appreciation to you and to your very competent staff.

Seldom in my 30 years of renting costumes (from Broadway classics to original works) have I been able to find costuming that met the standards of my imagination. Each summer, when I call or e-mail and describe some new portion of my show, you laugh and response, "oh, that'll be great fun." Then, the week before Thanksgiving, cases and cases of costumes, accessories, hats, parasols, etc., begin arriving. Wow! How did she know what would complete the picture in such a super way. I am fairly certain, you and your staff must be "slightly off the wall" to create such an array of spectacular outfits. ( I do recognize like spirits.)

The 22nd edition of "Toyland" was simply spectacular! I could not have dreamed of any better or more beautiful costuming. We had very little problem in fitting 95 performers in the costumes. You make us look good!

I am enclosing cd's with hundreds of photographs. Use any with our compliments. Should your company ever need any kind of recommendation as to quality, fit, price, or east of operation, I will be more than happy to sing your praises.

Best wishes for a wonderful holiday season, remember, December 2004, the trip way down South for Toyland 2004!

Thanks Patti Jo. We were very impressed with the costumes from last year's production of "The Curious Savage". The students looked their parts and everything worked wonderfully. I hope that you will be able to costume our show for us again this year. You've done great work for us in the past, and I know you'll do great work for us in the future.

The Music Man is history and the costumes are packed and on the way back. Couple of items:

1. We had a gentleman call us who had worked with Technicolor in the filming of the Music Man. He was responsible for setting up the Internations Press Conference in Mason City, Iowa for the premier of the movie (and also a friend of Meredith Wilsons). He came to the show Saturday and his first comment was, "the costumes are terrific and so correct for the period."

2. We have hundred of great pictures. I'll send you all of them, use as you will. Notice the brillaint color of the set and costumes. It was breathtaking. The general public commented on the costumes a great deal. Congratulations to you and your staff.

3. A personal thanks for making the uniform for Zeke. You were ver kind to do so. Again thank you for making us look so good.

Greetings Rose,

I just wanted to thank you for my order and your nice note. It's nice to know the Bloody Mary line of make-up is of good quality and that she worked on "Titanic". I actually am in that film, so it was a funny wee connection!

Your prices are great, so I'll be back, when I need some more.

Thank you so much for your time and assistance. Patti-Jo has a wonderful manager!

We certainly enjoyed wearing your costumes during the Grand Excursion. We always told people we wished they were ours but immediately said we rented them from Patti Jo's. We tried to give you lots of publicity. Many people took pictures including the Star Tribune paper of St Paul, Mn.

Thanks again for all your help.

Dear Patti Jo and Staff, I wanted to take a moment to thank you and your staff for the outstanding job that you did with the costumes for Moline High School's production of OUR TOWN. Even when faced with a short work period and a less-than-ideal deadline, you and your staff provided exemplary costumes and fittings. I can honestly say that you made our production. The students loved their costumes, and I loved the attention to detail. Again, thank you! I've enclosed a copy of our program and a copy of the review we received in our school newspaper.

I look forward to working with you again in the future.

Best Regards,

NOTE: Slick found in Sunday newspaper, advertisements. You just never know where one of Patti Jo's costumes, will show up. ( both Bunny and Pilgrim)
